Unique and exclusive, the reproduction of the Masamoto® knife was specially developed by Cainã Gartner for Chef Shinya Koike. The work with handle and blade of different woods, gold finish detail and engraving.Name of great prestige in gastronomy, Chef Shin Koike is ambassador of the diffusion of Japanese cuisine in Brazil and has commanded the largest oriental restaurants in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Masamoto® Traditional Knives Wrapped in many traditions, the Masamoto brand is one of the most acclaimed oriental chefs. Manufacturing knives since 1845, its founder dedicated his life to developing the best knives, with the soul of a Japanese craftsman.

  For SBT Rio Grande do Sul presenter Mônica Fonseca, artist Cainã Gartner created a work of great sentimental value and an icon of the profession. A hand-held microphone, all wood and 23k gold finish on nails. She received the work with great emotion for having her career materialized as art.

The biggest famous tattoo artist, Wagner Maximus, commissioned a work by Cainã Gartner atelier to decorate his studio in São Paulo. Gladiator Maximus III’s medieval helmet was the icon reproduced for Wagner, carved out of wood with 23k gold finishes.  

  The 2 meter tall Pegasus was created in partnership with the artist Julian Gallash. Cainã Gartner carved the woodwork and Julian customized with paints and spray, bringing tradition and contemporaneity closer. Symbol of immortality, Pegasus was exhibited at the Casa Hall Design District of Balneario Camboriu, Santa Catarina.

Elected in 2017 the # 1 DJ elected by House Mag magazine, Vintage Culture received from Cainã Gartner an Original PDNA. The work was customized with the signature of the DJ and headphones, a piece that accompanies the professional.  

  One of the great singers of the Brazilian sertanejo, the singer Daniel, commissioned a work of art with Cainã Gartner that represented his life and career in music. The choice could not be different: a cowboy hat, a piece of costume that is an important symbol to the backcountry.   The hat was hand carved by Cainã from a single block of wood. It took many hours in his studio with chisels, files and sanders to give the perfect shape and finish. The finish with Daniel’s signature engraved on the side of the hat. The handover was made by Cainã Gartner to the singer, who was very moved by the result. “The work will be exhibited in the living room of my house,” said Daniel.

Celebrating 100 titles, Roger Federer received from Cainã Gartner an all-wood tennis ball racket. Crafted by hand, even the racket strings are made of flexible wood. The exclusive sculpture was delivered during US OPEN 2019 in New York, United States. Roger Federer is considered one of the greatest tennis players of recent times for his world titles, but also for his social work through the Roger Federer Foundation.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s legacy, the greatest Brazilian Formula 1 driver of all time, artist Cainã Gartner was chosen to sculpt 25 numbered 1993 helmets. Senna’s mother, Neyde Senna da Silva, was the one who suggested a helmet for each son’s legacy year in memory of his example as an athlete and as a person. “Senna has always been my idol. He awakens in people to do with love and do his best, ”says Cainã. Work process In the studio, a place he has known since childhood, Cainã Gartner began his work projecting everything on paper. He set the measurements, angles and finishes first of all. After that, the first helmet was materialized. “The wood was specially selected for this project and it all started with a single massive block. In the final step, the customization I made with fire and 23k Italian gold to give the contrast. ”   Keeping in mind the great sentimental value of this project, he appreciated every moment. “Each process generates a different feeling. I kept my mind focused on the finished piece. I already have it ready in my head and in that I just remove the excesses until I get the result I want, ”says Cainã. Delivery of the sculptures The delivery of the work took place at Senna Day, May 1, 2019 in Interlagos, São Paulo, an occasion that celebrated Ayrton Senna’s 25-year legacy. The first piece was numbered “Work No. 0” and given to the pilot’s mother.   In addition to the pilot’s family, many famous Ayrton Senna fans and fans were able to admire Cainã Gartner’s artwork live. The other pieces will be part of the sale reversed in social and cultural projects through the Ayrton Senna Institute
